MEET THE TEACHERS
WATERCOLOR WITH JOYCE
Determined to translate onto paper the sentiments of repose and introspection, Joyce employs simple methods to allow the paint to flow in an unrestrained manner to create unique impressionistic scenes that capture the emotions of serenity and contemplation.
After visiting the Florida Gulf coast, Joyce was captivated by the continually transforming colors of the sky and water, Joyce began painting with watercolors. Her paintings and commissions were part of the Taos Artist Collective and now reside in private collections throughout the United States.
Joyce lives and paints in Allen, TX with her loving husband and pup, Rascal, where her granite countertop is her impromptu studio.
WATERCOLOR WITH LINDSAY
Lindsay is a self taught artist that has found the transformative power of creating. Her love of watercolor shows in her joyful creations that breath energy and goodness.
Her work has been collected wildly by private collectors and adorns the homes of many.
Lindsay lives and paints in Frisco, TX with her family and loves to share her passion for creativity.
CALLIGRAPHY WITH BLAKE
Blake is a self-taught calligrapher who loves using words to evoke emotion. With a keen eye for detail and a passion for creativity, she brings words to life through the elegant strokes of her pen.
Each piece crafted by Blake is a testament to her dedication to the art form, showcasing her commitment to precision and aesthetic beauty.
Through her dedication to her craft, Blake continues to inspire and captivate audiences with her exquisite calligraphy creations.
Blake grew up in Allen, TX and now lives in Frisco, TX with her husband, Isaac, and her dog, Oliver.
INK WITH BRENDA
Brenda, a painter and mixed media artist based in Carrollton, Texas. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in fashion design from the University of North Texas and a Masters of Fine Art in painting from Texas Woman's University.
Brenda's artistic practice encompasses various media, including oil painting, alcohol ink, recycled papers, fiber, and small sculptural works. Her exploration of different mediums and processes fuels her creativity, with the process itself serving as a source of excitement and inspiration.
Her artwork has been showcased in national and international exhibitions, earning her awards and a place in numerous permanent collections.
OIL PAINTING WITH JENNIFER
Jennifer is inspired by the fluidity of memory and the elusive nature of capturing a moment, Jennifer’s acrylic and oil paintings explore the transient nature of experience. Through layered colors, nuanced values, and intricate marks, she seeks to capture the ephemeral fleeting moments we all strive to capture.
Formerly a tenured Professor of Art in Detroit, Jennifer now teaches Painting, Drawing, and 2-D Design as a Full-Time Professor in Plano, TX.
Her work and research about empowerment has garnered numerous awards, resides in hundreds of permanent collections, and has been exhibited extensively both nationally and internationally.
Jennifer is a Fine Art Painter living in Allen, TX with her sweet family and puppy. She holds a Master of Fine Arts in painting and drawing.
